Update: Lane closure on Hwy 8 Hill in Dundas beginning next Monday
HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete geotechnical investigations, the Hwy 8 Hill will be reduced to one lane between Bond Street South and Woodleys Lane. The start date for the lane closure on the Hwy 8 Hill in Dundas has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, March 2, 2020. The project is expected to wrap up on or before March 18, weather permitting.
Work will include borehole drilling, slope stability investigations, sampling and testing of the soil. This work is part of the Hwy 8 Hill upcoming capital reconstruction project, which includes the bridge replacement over Spencer Creek.
Access to the Dundas Valley Golf & Curling Club will be maintained.
Vehicles will be flagged through the area during this time. Motorists may experience delays.
