Vincent Massey Park Grand Opening

HAMILTON – On October 1, 2016, the public and members of the media are invited to attend the grand opening of Vincent Massey Park.

The event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, free BBQ, free fitness in the park and on site Supie.

Location: Vincent Massey Park.  Corner of East 37th Street and 7th Avenue, Hamilton

• 11:30 pm – Free BBQ
• 12 pm – Official ribbon cutting
• 2 pm – Free fitness in the park
• Supie program on site
• A visit by Councillor Tom Jackson,  Vincent Massey Park Citizen’s Committee and City of Hamilton staff

Following the official opening, residents are welcome to explore the new park and its many amenities including:

• Senior and junior play structures
• Multi-purpose court
• Fitness equipment
• Sun shelter
• Walking paths
• Drinking fountain
• Green space and trees
