We are getting ready to set sail: come aboard the Hamilton Children’s Museum Eugenia
Hamilton, ON - October 16, 2017 - The City of Hamilton today announced that the Hamilton Children’s Museum will reopen this Saturday, October 21, 2017 after a month-long temporary closure to put the finishing touches on an exciting new exhibit.
Re-opening Program
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2017
Time: 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
Join us and come aboard the ‘Eugenia’ at the Hamilton Children’s museum. Plant and pluck felt vegetables to create tasty meals for your ship’s crew in the galley kitchen. Before getting on board, fish from the HCM dock, help load cargo onto the ship and steer into clear skies ahead. When all your play work is done, build a fort with your favourite adult in the fort forest.
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2017
Time: 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
Join us for a special activity: What Are Fossils? This workshop is provided by the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council and the City of Hamilton and coordinated by members of the Pipeline Trail.
All these activities provide hours of open-ended learning and activity for every member of the family.
The Hamilton Children’s Museum invites visitors to touch, build, experiment, invent, and imagine in a friendly, child-centred setting. The museum, housed in a former Gage family home, has been stimulating curiosities and providing opportunities for family learning for over 30 years.
