Join us for an immersive exploration of the fascinating art of pyrography, a craft mastered by Ruby McQuesten who lived at Whitehern. Ruby used heated tools to burn intricate patterns into wood, often adding vibrant colors for stunning visual effects.
After a brief house tour showcasing some of her exquisite, surviving works, you'll step into the historic Stable, where you'll paint your own wood-burned frame replicas, all while enjoying the soothing sounds of period music and sipping on refreshing, chilled lemonade.
