The City of Hamilton launches the call for submissions for the Urban Design and Architecture Awards
HAMILTON, ON - The City of Hamilton formally opens the call for submissions for the 8th biennial Urban Design and Architecture Awards. The Awards program is now accepting submissions until Friday, June 14, 2019 by 4 pm. The Awards Program celebrates design excellence in our city, which is integral to a vibrant and sustainable community that fosters a high quality of life.
The City is reaching out to all architects, consultants, contractors, engineers, landscape architects, planners, owners, urban designers and students to submit your best projects. Projects can include adaptive reuse, additions, alterations, new buildings, brownfield redevelopment, master plans, ecological restoration, installations, landscapes, open spaces, parks, planning studies, public art, streetscapes and student work.
A high quality, well designed urban environment brings economic and social benefits to its citizens, and the Awards recognize and celebrate this.
