Construction to begin on Regional Rd 56 in Binbrook

HAMILTON, ON – February 1, 2016 – On Monday, February 8th, Hamilton’s Public Works Department will begin work on Regional Road 56 in Binbrook between Southbrook Drive and just north of Cemetery Road. The project involves the installation of new storm and sanitary sewers, a new watermain and road reconstruction. The sidewalk will also be removed and replaced with urban braille sidewalks.   

Lane restrictions will be in place during construction and major traffic delays should be expected in the area.  The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of the year with top course asphalt being laid in 2017.
