Welland River Floodplain mapping project

The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is beginning the process of updating and creating new floodplain mapping along the entire length of the Welland River.  An important part of this process is engaging our community, particularly those who live next to the Welland River or are in the study area. The existing or newly mapped flood lines may or may not impact what you can do on your property.

A comprehensive consultation and engagement process will help keep residents informed and provide an opportunity for participation and feedback.
