COVID-19 Outbreak at Sizzle Nightclub on Hess St. S.

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Public Health Services has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Sizzle Nightclub at 25 Hess St. S., Hamilton, after nine confirmed cases have been linked to the nightclub.

As a precaution, Hamilton Public Health Services is advising anyone who may have been at Sizzle Nightclub on August 7, August 13 or August 14, 2021 to get tested for COVID-19 and self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. Members of the public with questions should contact the Public Health Services’ COVID-19 Hotline: 905-974-9848.

An outbreak is declared if there is evidence of COVID-19 transmission within a particular setting. Hamilton Public Health Services is currently investigating this matter further.
