Locke street from Main to Hunter to close starting June 3

HAMILTON, ON – In an effort to expedite construction work underway on Locke Street, beginning June 3, 2019, the City of Hamilton will close the section of Locke street that runs from Main to Hunter.

This closure will allow work to begin on road excavation while the watermain is being tested. Once the watermain connection has been completed, concrete can be quickly placed and work can continue in this area.

Construction on Locke Street is expected to be completed by November 2019.
