Official opening celebration for East Mountain Trail Loop

HAMILTON, ON – On Saturday, June 1st, 2019, the City of Hamilton will celebrate the official grand opening of a brand new 800 metre section of the East Mountain Trail Loop located south of the intersection at Mud St and Pritchard Rd. 

Councillor Jackson and City staff will welcome guests for an official ribbon cutting and photo opportunity.

This celebration will mark the completion of the East Mountain Trail Loop addition which connects the Red Hill Valley Trail parking lot with the Arbour Road pedestrian bridge. This addition will provide easier access to Mount Albion Conservation Area and visitors will soon be able to experience the entire 10km trail loop.

City-wide parks are meant to appeal to those with widely varying needs and interests, and service residents and visitors from Hamilton and surrounding areas.
