Risky Play. Are you up for it?
HAMILTON, ON – The public are invited to an evening of conversation and a brief workshop about the importance and necessity of play with guest speaker Kelly Prendergast, Master of Public Administration, on Mon. Apr. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Children’s Museum, 1072 Main St. E.
Kelly will discuss the concepts of Outdoor Play, Active/Risky Play, Loose Parts and Physical Literacy as well as barriers to Active/Risky Play.
Quick facts
- Included is a brief workshop (discussions, websites and resources) about how to integrate outdoor play and active/risky play into parental lifestyles.
- Children are welcome to accompany their adults and play in the museum galleries.
