Claremont/Keddy Access Trail Update: Closure of James Street Stairs beginning today

HAMILTON, ON - In order to safely proceed with the construction on the Claremont Escarpment Access and the Keddy Access Trail, the City of Hamilton will close the James Street Stairs beginning later today until the fall.

The entire length of the James Street Stairs will be closed to ensure the safety of the public and construction workers around the heavy construction equipment needed to complete this project.
