If a tree falls in the forest, do you care? We think so. Attend a free, public workshop on the urban forest strategy.

HAMILTON, ON – The City of Hamilton invites the public to do some thinking about the future of our urban forest. An urban forest includes trees and woodlands growing on both public and private lands including natural areas and ravines.

Citizens are invited to participate in one of the three free, upcoming public workshops. The workshops will walk you through the current condition of Hamilton’s urban forest. They’ll then discuss the draft goals and actions in the urban forest strategy to protect and enhance the urban forest. Input from citizens at the workshops will be reviewed as this insight will help refine and prioritize the draft goals and actions of the strategy.
