Intermittent pedestrian pathway closures in Gage Park beginning Monday
HAMILTON, ON – In order to safely complete walkway reconstruction, a series of intermittent closures along the pedestrian pathway in Gage Park will take place beginning Monday, August 23, 2021 for approximately three months.
The work is expected to wrap up in December 2021, weather permitting.
The scope of work includes the paving of the main loop pathway and the paving of minor pathways to improve accessibility to the washroom buildings, playground area and bandshell.
Construction along the walkways will be completed in phases to minimize disruption for park users. View more details and timelines for each phase of the project
The City of Hamilton thanks park visitors for their patience as we complete these important infrastructure improvements.
