Nikola Tesla Boulevard and Burlington Street overpass closed beginning Monday

HAMILTON, ON – To safely complete resurfacing work, the City of Hamilton will close the eastbound and westbound directions for the two elevated road segments on Nikola Tesla Blvd and Burlington Street E .

The closure will begin on Monday, August 20 and is expected to wrap up on or before  8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29. 

Nikola Tesla Blvd. (expressway overpass) will be closed from east of Parkdale Ave. to easterly of Ottawa St. Concurrently, Burlington St. E. (‘Wilcox St. Bridge’ overpass)  will be closed from west of Gage Ave. N. to easterly of Sherman Ave. N.

Motorists can continue to travel east and west around the overpass closures by staying on the surface roadway, Burlington Street East.  The City of Hamilton thanks motorists for their patience as we complete these important infrastructure repairs.
