Road closures, parking restrictions and noise impacts in the Locke Street area through to March
HAMILTON, ON – Starting next week, the City of Hamilton will begin sewer rehabilitation work on Locke Street between Aberdeen Avenue and Bold Street. Residents and businesses in the area will experience temporary road closures, parking restrictions and noise impacts throughout the duration of this work.
- During the week of January 7, there will be one-way closures intermittently along Locke Street, between Aberdeen Avenue and Tuckett Street.
- During the week of January 14 (weather permitting), there will be a two-way closure along Locke Street between Charlton Avenue and Herkimer Street.
- During the week of January 21 (weather permitting), there will be a two-way closure along Locke Street between Blanshard Street and Bold Street.
Given the schedule for this sewer rehabilitation work is weather permitting, the City will post specific dates and details of each closure on our Twitter channel @cityofhamilton.
