Winners Announced for 'Fresh from the Studio' Art Exhibition
Hamilton, ON – The Fieldcote Fine Arts Committee is pleased to announce the award winners from Fresh from the Studio, a juried exhibition of recent work from Hamilton area artists. The exhibit completed a successful run on Dec. 22, 2018 at Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum, 64 Sulphur Springs Road in Ancaster.
There were four prizes of $200 each. Three Judges’ Choice prizes were awarded at the opening reception and one People’s Choice prize (voted on by attendees) was awarded upon conclusion of the exhibit.

Prize winners for the Judges’ Choice Awards were:
- John Farr for ‘Strange Love’
- Whitney MacKay for ‘Aspiring’
- Clara Laraita for ‘Ravished Missive Self Portrait’
- Honourable Mention was awarded to Nika Hough for ‘Dripping Red’
The People’s Choice winner is:
- Susan Outlaw for ‘Magnolia and Cobalt’
- Runners up were Lee Munn for ‘A Line of Late Afternoon Sun’, Whitney McKay for ‘Aspiring’ and Andrea Kita for ‘Transit of Time, St. Pierre’.
