HSR Detours for Santa Claus Parade
On November 16, there will be HSR route detours for the Hamilton Santa Claus Parade:

Bus Stop Changes
Effective September 1, 2024, these bus stop changes will be in effect.
Route 11 Parkdale
- Stop “Paramount opposite Pembroke” will now be known as “Valley Park Loop”
- Bus Route 11 Parkdale will not be stopping at “Paramount at Valley Park Loop”
Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer
Route 18 (Northbound and Southbound) will be moved from HOLLYBUSH to CLAPPISON

All destination signs for Bus Stops between Saltfleet High School and Valley Park Loop (listed below) will now say “eastbound”

Route 11 - Parkdale (Fall Schedule)
Travels the furthest north of all HSR routes, looping at the Burlington Bus Terminal. This route also travels along an expressway.

Detour of Route 12 - Wentworth for construction
As a result of construction on Wentworth Street, Route 12 Wentworth southbound only, will be on detour from Monday, October 28, 2024, at 9 am to Friday, December 20, 2024, at 6 pm.
Route 12 Wentworth:
- Southbound To (End-of-line): From Wentworth Street and Cannon Street turning right on Cannon Street, left on Wellington Street, left on Main Street, right on Wentworth Street and resume regular southbound routing on Wentworth Street south of Main Street.
- Northbound To (End-of-line): No Detour.
These bus stops will be closed during the detour:
- Southbound: Wentworth at Cannon| Wentworth at Wilson | Wentworth at King | Wentworth at Main
Temporary stops have been placed at these locations:
- Southbound: Wentworth at Cannon (north side of Cannon) | Wentworth at Main (south of Main)

Route 12 - Wentworth (Fall Schedule)
Runs on a clockwise loop using Wentworth, Stinson, Victoria and Burlington Streets.

Route 16 - Ancaster (Fall Schedule)
Travels between Meadowlands Transit Terminal and the shopping complex at Wilson and Garner. This route is interlined with 43 - Stone Church.

Route 18 - Waterdown Mountaineer (Fall Schedule)
A new fixed-route service, route will connect Waterdown to Aldershot GO Station and Burlington Transit at Plains Road. Route 18 will operate at a 30-minute frequency.

Route 20 - A-Line Express (Fall Schedule)
The A-Line Express is a north-south express route that travels from downtown Hamilton to the Hamilton International Airport. The route also stops on the Fennell campus of Mohawk College.
Glanbrook Trans-Cab service operates Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Park N' Ride: HSR Mountain Transit Centre on Upper James, with platforms for Route 20 - A-Line and Route 27 - Upper James.
